Cancellation Policies

These Cancellation Policies explain the terms that you may be entitled to receive a refund, credit or rebook when cancelling a reservation for one of our sailing tours.
We all recognize that plans sometimes change, and it is therefore important for you to understand the cancellation policies associated with your booking. We are committed to ensuring that you have clear information regarding your options and terms when making changes to your reservation and confidence in your decision to book with us.
You can find the cancellation policies on the product description page, order summary before you pay, on the booking confirmation that is emailed to you, and within this document on our website.
Private Charter Cancellation Policy
Private Charters are fully refundable if you cancel within 24 hours of booking, or 30 days or more prior to the departure date. If you cancel a Private Charter 14 days or more prior to the departure date, 50% of the price will be provided as a credit that can be used towards any sailing product within twelve months of the cancellation date. Cancellations incur a $50 administrative fee. All Private Charters are automatically covered by Canadian Coastal's WeatherProof Booking Protection for free.
Retail Shared Tour Cancellation Policy
Retail Shared Tours are fully refundable if you cancel within 24 hours of booking, or 14 days or more prior to the departure date. All Retail Shared Tours are automatically covered by Canadian Coastal's WeatherProof Booking Protection for free.
Last Minute Booking Cancellation Policy
Last Minute Bookings are non-refundable. All Last Minute Bookings are automatically covered by Canadian Coastal's WeatherProof Booking Protection for free.
